As a CNC Machine Operator, your duties will include:
1.
Setting up, programming, operating, and maintaining CNC machines to produce high-quality parts.
2.
Reading and interpreting complex engineering drawings and specifications to ensure accurate production.
3.
Performing milling, turning, and grinding operations as per the requirements.
4.
Regularly inspecting and measuring finished products to ensure they meet specifications and quality standards.
5.
Troubleshooting machine malfunctions and carrying out basic maintenance tasks to ensure optimal machine performance.
6.
Adhering to all safety protocols and maintaining a clean and safe work environment.
7.
Collaborating with the engineering team to improve production processes and product quality.
8.
Documenting production processes, including data entry and report generation.
Qualifications:
To succeed in this role, you will need:
1.
A minimum of 3 years of experience as a CNC Machine Operator, particularly with milling, turning, and grinding.
2.
A strong understanding of CNC programming and the ability to read and interpret complex engineering drawings and specifications.
3.
Proficiency in using precision measurement tools.
4.
Excellent troubleshooting skills with the ability to perform basic machine maintenance tasks.
5.
Strong attention to detail with a commitment to producing high-quality work.
6.
Excellent time management skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
7.
Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
8.
A safety-first mindset with a good understanding of industry safety protocols.
9.
A technical degree or certification in a related field would be an advantage.
