Global Vice President of Treasury & FX


Methode Electronics is seeking a?Global Vice President Treasury & FX.? In this role, you will be responsible for global treasury and risk management for all of the company's business units. The position will primarily be responsible for corporate liquidity, investments, and risk management related to the company's financial activities.? You will report directly to the CFO.

  • Forecast cash flow positions, related borrowing needs, and funds available for investment

  • Ensure sufficient funds are available to meet ongoing operational and capital investment requirements

  • Proven track record of presenting to C-Suite and Board of Directors

  • Preveious experience with pre/post M&A activities

  • Explore hedging to mitigate financial risks related to the interest rates on the company's borrowings, as well as on its foreign exchange positions

  • Maintain banking relationships

  • Develop credit agency relationships as required

  • Arrange for equity and debt financing as required

  • Ensure the full integration of multiple banking platforms

  • Advise management on the liquidity aspects of its short- and long-range planning

  • Oversee the extension of credit to customers

  • Maintain a system of policies and procedures that impose an adequate level of control over treasury activities

  • Experience with running global FX hedging programs

  • Have a working knowledge of ASC-815 'Derivatives and Hedging'

  • Other duties as assigned?


  • Bachelor degree in Accountancy, Finance or Economics

  • MBA preferred

  • Minimum of 15 years of progressive experience, some with an international company

  • Proven knowledge of foreign currency transactions and international exposure associated with a global company

  • Excellent financial modeling skills using Microsoft Office products

  • CPA or CTP designation highly desired

  • Ability to work effectively across functional areas

  • Travel up to 10% of the time, including international

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
